Game
Score
Game score is a metric devised by Bill James and first presented
in the 1988 Baseball Abstract to show how dominate a pitcher was
in any particular game. The formula leans heavy on strikeouts, so
a normal two hitter by Jamie Moyer versus a normal two hitter by
Roger Clemens will have drastically different scores.
